Play: Parks & Playgrounds

This recreation area includes a playground, basketball court and picnic area. There is an extensive network of trails for mountain biking for riders of all ability levels. It is recommended that cyclists walk the trails to assess their difficulty before attempting to bike.

Memorial Park has a playground, basketball and tennis courts, picnic area and hosts events all summer long. The park is located on Staple and Heath Street, across from the Chamber of Commerce and Amrtrak station in downtown Old Orchard Beach.

This park features something for every member of the family.  Boating, swimming, fishing, athletic fields, a youth center, skate park and playground equipment are all available for an inexpensive day of family fun.  The skate park features an 8-foot half-pipe, a 5-foot half-pipe, two 5-foot quarter pipes, a rail, two grind boxes, a flybox (with a kicker connected to a slope that goes up to a platform), a kicker and a half-pyramid with a grind rail on the side.

Memorial Park is located directly behind the Municipal Building at Oak Hill. This park includes both active and passive recreation opportunities for your enjoyment. Amenities include a pond with two fountains, gazebo, trails, athletic fields, and a skateboard park.
